Which ward is Fort York in? In 1851, I found my g-g-gfather in the Barracks, but I didn't copy the record or keep a source, and now I can't find it again.

I need to confirm before I pay, that you have my birth certificate
OntarioGenWeb does not issue birth certificates (or marriage or death certificates).
To order a birth certificate you must apply for it through Ontario.ca or look in the blue pages of an Ontario phone book. There is also a toll free number to call (see the Ontario.ca website) if you have questions.
Keep in mind that they will not confirm or deny the existence of a birth certificate, and in order to get a copy of your own birth certificate you will have to provide proof of your identity.

Page 17 of the 1861 Census for the Village of Colborne, Ont. shows the name of a Head Master & his Asst. as well as the names of 45 students ranging in age from 7 yrs to 26 yrs. Does anyone have any idea what type of Institution this might have been and during what period it may have operated?

I came across a death notice from Ontario deaths from 1869-1932 for a Joseph Johnson who died October 16th 1918. Could you please see if this information helps to confirm this Joseph Johnson was my Grandfather, as i would like to purchase a death certificate.
OntarioGenWeb is not a research service so we cannot locate a record and make confirmation. But we can tell you how to do this yourself. See our death records page for more information on how to obtain copies of death registrations. Please note that deaths that occurred 72 years ago or later are FREE to view on microfilm (or through a subscription to Ancestry) and cannot be purchased from the government.
